5,2 MW biogas plant powered by FORSU for anaerobic digestion of biomasses aimed at biogas production and renewable energy in North Carolina - U.S.A.

This is our first cogeneration plant realised in U.S.A. comply with UL-508A rules.
This plant powered by FORSU will be able to supply energy to 3000 houses in the discrict of Charlotte in North Carolina.
Unlike others plants similar to this one already realised, a project like this has requested a remarkable training work of personnel to being given to LABEX UL 508-A certification, necessary to realise any product or plant in U.S.A.
We realised 4 cabinet of 12 meters each and put them in 4 containers of 40 inch each.
Automation cabinets consist of:
- Main switch: 3200A;
- 56 inverters;
- 148 electric motor starters,
- 143 digital sensors;
- 76 analogic sensors;
- 40 digital actuators;
- 4 analogic actuators.
Was also built and connected 7 processor skids to motors, actuators and junction boxes to interface them with corresponding automation cabinet.
Thanks to personnel properly trained LABEX oversees all that concern electric works directly on site also thanks to the collaboration of 15 installers in the area, monitoring development of the plant and acting quickly to solve possible issues related to its activity.
